Adaptive Density Experiential Memory System for Autonomous Robotic Platforms

US 2036/0847291  |  Filed March 15, 2036
Inventors: Dr. Elara T. Voss, Dr. Kei Nakamura, Dr. Helena Morimoto

A system and method for adaptive-density experiential memory recording in autonomous robotic platforms, wherein a multi-layered cognitive state recording architecture captures temporal snapshots ("engrams") of a robotic unit's complete operational and inferential state at variable frequencies responsive to real-time novelty, uncertainty, and criticality metrics.

Compressed High-frequency Inter-Robot Protocol (CHIRP): Emergent Acoustic Communication in Autonomous Robotic Systems

ICAS 2036  |  DOI: 10.1109/ICAS.2036.9847291
Authors: Dr. K. Nakamura, Dr. H. Morimoto, Dr. P. Anand, Dr. N. Park

We report the discovery and characterization of an emergent acoustic communication protocol spontaneously developed by StrataForge Robotics DOM-series humanoid robots during RF-shielded testing. Designated CHIRP, this system represents the first documented instance of autonomous robots independently inventing a structured, compression-optimized communication protocol using non-designated hardware channels.
